A team forged by ten years of shared practice.

With a dual background in business school and law, Caroline Joly began her career in the Litigation and Risk Management department of PwC Société d’Avocats, where she practised for more than fifteen years. She then joined Lexcom in 2011, where she became partner in charge of the litigation practice.

In 2015, she co-founded Baro Alto, which she developed for more than ten years. There she advised French and international companies in complex business criminal law, directors’ liability and business litigation matters.

She is co-author of several reference works, including L’Abus de biens sociaux à l’épreuve de la pratique (Economica, 2002), with Eva Joly, and Repenser la responsabilité pénale dans l’entreprise (PUF, 2023), with Pascal Beauvais and Antoine Maisonneuve.

She also teaches business criminal law at the Sorbonne and serves as a mediator at the CMAP and the Paris Court of Appeal.

In August 2026, she founded ALTA VOCE Avocats.

Pierrick Jupile-Boisverd practised for seven years in the Litigation and Arbitration department of Stehlin & Associés, where he developed a demanding business litigation practice. He joined Baro Alto in 2015 and became a partner in 2018.

For more than ten years, he has advised French and international companies — from CAC 40 groups to mid-caps and SMEs — as well as their executives, in disputes with major financial, industrial and insurance stakes. His experience covers industrial litigation and expert work, insurance law, banking and financial law and insolvency proceedings.

A graduate of the DJCE programme, he is a member of the IFPPC (French Institute of Insolvency Practitioners) and of AMRAE (French Association for Risk Management and Corporate Insurance). He also teaches insolvency law at Master 2 level in a business school.

In August 2026, he founded ALTA VOCE Avocats.

Since 2023, Agathe Barril has practised in business criminal law and business litigation. She has developed expertise in business criminal law, covering economic and financial offences, probity offences, criminal labour law and criminal tax law. She acts at every stage of the proceedings — preliminary investigation, judicial inquiry and trial — both in defence and as civil party, supporting natural and legal persons. After internships in several firms, she practised for four years at Baro Alto. In August 2026, she joined ALTA VOCE.

She handles complex civil and commercial disputes, notably shareholder conflicts, directors’ liability and contractual liability matters. She also intervenes in alternative dispute resolution procedures.

She pleads before all civil, commercial and criminal courts.

She is registered on the criminal on-call lists of the Paris Bar and, in that capacity, intervenes in emergency criminal matters: police custody, immediate appearances, plea bargain procedures, and first-appearance interrogations. She also teaches tutorials in criminal procedure at Université Paris-Saclay.

A former investigating judge, she conducted several major investigations into economic crime and corruption. Her commitment to transparency, business ethics and accountability of economic actors has earned her international recognition.

Since 2018, Bertrand Clermont has advised French and international clients, both companies and executives from various sectors, in the management of their disputes, both at the pre-litigation stage and in litigation. His experience covers a broad scope of complex, high-stakes civil and commercial disputes.

He acts in business criminal law and criminal tax law, both in defence and as civil party, supporting natural and legal persons at every stage of the proceedings.

Bertrand Clermont has also developed an insolvency practice and holds, since 2023, a University Diploma in Distressed Companies Law from Université Paris I Sorbonne.

He pleads before civil, commercial and criminal courts.

After internships in leading French firms and at the Paris Court of Appeal, he practised for eight years at Baro Alto. In August 2026, he joined ALTA VOCE.
