Protection of personal data
In accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (GDPR) and French Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended (the "Data Protection Act"), ALTA VOCE Avocats, as data controller, processes personal data collected via this site.
Data collected. When the user contacts the firm via the contact form, the following data may be collected: title, surname, first name, email address, telephone number (optional), company (optional) and message content.
Purpose. This data is processed solely for the purpose of responding to the user's request and, where applicable, of establishing a professional relationship.
Legal basis. Processing is based on the user's consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, where applicable, on pre-contractual measures taken at their request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Retention period. The data is kept for the time necessary to process the request, plus three (3) years from the last contact, for prospecting purposes. Data necessary for the performance of a lawyer's mandate is kept in accordance with the legal and professional obligations applicable to the legal profession.
Recipients. The data is intended solely for the firm's authorised lawyers and staff, as well as its technical subcontractors (host, email service provider) within the strict limits of their tasks. No data is transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
Users' rights. Pursuant to articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, the user has the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of their data, as well as the right to define directives regarding the fate of their data after their death. These rights may be exercised by writing to To be completed or by post to the firm's registered office, providing proof of identity.

Cookies

Technical cookies. Strictly necessary for navigation and the proper functioning of the site, these cookies do not require prior consent.

Fees
The firm's fees are set in accordance with the rules of the legal profession, in particular article 10 of the French law of 31 December 1971 as amended. They take into account the complexity of the matter, the time spent, the reputation and experience of the lawyer, and the work performed. Except in cases of urgency, force majeure or legal exception, fees are subject to a written fee agreement signed prior to any intervention.

professional privilege — general, absolute and unlimited in time;
the essential principles of the profession: independence, dignity, conscience, probity, humanity, honour, loyalty, disinterestedness, fraternity, delicacy, moderation and courtesy.
Mediation and complaints
Any complaint relating to the firm's services may be addressed directly to ALTA VOCE Avocats, by post to the registered office or by email. In case of persisting difficulty, the user is informed of the possibility to refer the matter, in accordance with articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, to the Consumer Mediator of the legal profession: Mr Carl Enckell — mediateur-consommation-avocat.fr — 180 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris. The dispute resolution procedures applicable to the legal profession (notably referral to the Bâtonnier of the Paris Bar) also remain available.
